Labor and Employment Law
We
represent clients in a wide array of labor and employment matters, usually
acting on behalf of employers and management. Our assignments typically
include advice and representation in matters involving claims of wrongful
termination, discrimination or harassment, and/or retalitory discharge
or discipline. We regularly prepare employment contracts, policy manuals
and advise on wage and hours concerns. The firm has represented employers
before all state and federal agencies involved in employment issues,
including the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the
United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the California
Workers' Compensation Appeal Board and the California Labor Commissioner.
