We
have substantial experience with the United States Customs Service.
We have assisted clients in opposing seizures of vessels and cargoes
and have acted in response to many penalty actions for alleged failure
to comply with customs, cabotage, immigration, gambling and similar
regulations. We have defended large shipping lines and individual owners
in cases involving stowaways and contraband, and work closely with clients
to develop policies and procedures to eliminate such problems from their
operations.
