| Experience: | Admitted to the California Bar, 1988. Previously affiliated with Lillick, McHose & Charles and Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro (which merged). Prior to completing her legal studies, she worked as a marine and aviation claims adjuster and investigator. |
| Specialization: | General civil litigation, maritime, insurance defense and product liability cases. She has developed expertise in the commercial fishing industry, having litigated hundreds of Jones Act suits. Ms. Eilert has represented countless vessel owners and operators on every conceivable type of water craft, and typically handles high-exposure personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, ADA and sexual assault claims in both state and federal courts. She has handled hundreds of arbitrations and mediations and is also experienced in the investigation of catastrophic incidents and in handling complex litigation, including class actions, third party tort litigation and claims against automobile manufacturers and major pharmaceutical companies and their distributors. She is fluent in Spanish and regularly handles matters arising in Mexico and Central America. |
